Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the cash register, and help maintain store standards.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, stock replenishment, unloading trucks, and ensuring a clean, safe store. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, and you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
