Job summary

Family Dollar in Carrollton, MO is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and orderly.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Part-time position with responsibilities across customer service and store maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment for customers and staff.
• Ensure bathrooms and floors are clean and presentable.
