Job summary

Family Dollar in Beauregard, AL seeks a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, restock, stock merchandise, and help unload trucks while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience. Candidates should be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle physical duties and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
