Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain store cleanliness and stock. This role requires lifting and frequent movement around the store.

Part-time position in Aberdeen, NJ with opportunities to contribute to a friendly, fast-paced retail team. Prior retail customer service and ability to follow instructions are valued; strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or pharmacy environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and restock merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
