Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience at our Owens Cross Roads store. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help stock and replenish merchandise.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with prior retail or service experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent movement.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
