Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our Fairfield, Ohio store. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help stock and replenish merchandise while maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly shopping environment.

We value strong communication, reliability, and a can-do attitude. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and you will be part of a team that prioritizes customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
