M. Price Distributing Co. - One of the leading beverage distributors in Southeast Virginia is looking for a Part-Time Merchandiser to join our industry-leading Sales Team! As a Merchandiser, you will learn many aspects of the beverage business. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in an entry-level, sales position with the desire to grow.
Work days-Saturday and Sunday
Time-06:00 am - 4:00 pm (start and end time may vary)
Starting Pay-$15 per hour
Part- Time-15-20+ hours/week
POSITION OVERVIEW-
Our Merchandisers play a significant role at M. Price Distributing Co. After the beer is sold and delivered to our customer accounts, Merchandisers stock, rotate, and properly display our product in the accounts - ensuring the end customer can easily shop and enjoy our products.
Working as a Merchandiser at M. Price, you can expect to work hard in an independent setting and be held accountable for achieving your goals. Successful team members in this role will develop the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to grow within the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS -
Ensure that all products are properly stocked and displayed according to Company standards
Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed
Develop and maintain effective customer relations
Ability to use a pallet jack and cart
Critical physical demands include the following:
Handling products ranging from 10 to 50 lbs.
Two-handed lifting, handling and carrying cases from floor to overhead levels frequently.
Sustained squatting, kneeling, and bending while handling products
Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS-
Must have a current and valid Virginia Driver’s License
Meet the acceptable driving criteria as outlined in our handbook
Must be able to lift 25 - 50 lbs. consistently
Customer service oriented
Compensation details: 15-15 Hourly Wage
