Job Overview

As a Bakery Associate, you will support the preparation, display, and sale of fresh baked goods, ensuring products are properly packaged, stocked, labeled, and presented. You will provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, food‑safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, display, and sale of fresh baked goods.
• Package items and stock bakery cases.
• Maintain an attractive presentation of products.
• Provide excellent customer service to all patrons.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in compliance with FDA GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including 8‑10 hour shifts, 5 days a week, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to stand for prolonged periods.
• Willing and able to read documents and labels.
• Willing and able to perform tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
• Experience in customer service and basic math preferred.

Work Environment

• Tasks performed primarily in the Bakery department and front counter.
• Include walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting deli products up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent interaction with customers and associates.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Schedule

• 5‑hour swing shifts, 3:00pm – 8:00pm.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
