Black Diamond Equipment, Ltd. is seeking a Part Time Retail Associate for West Valley City to deliver exceptional customer service with in-depth product knowledge of climbing, skiing and mountaineering. The role requires accurate POS transactions and a friendly, helpful demeanor for customers of all levels.

You will assist with product information, restock, and maintain store appearance while following safety and cash handling procedures. Weekend work and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Preferred: previous retail in an outdoor specialty store.
• Strong customer relations and knowledge of POS systems.
• Familiarity with climbing, backcountry skiing and mountaineering.

Responsibilities

Part Time Retail Associate - West Valley, UT # Part Time Retail Associate - West Valley, UTSalt Lake City, UT 84124## DescriptionThe Retail Associate’s primary responsibility is maintaining a highly positive customer experience by providing exceptional customer service. This includes in-depth practical and product knowledge of climbing, skiing and mountaineering; the ability to transfer that knowledge in a sensible fashion and a willingness to assist customers of all levels with their needs. Must be able to communicate well in a friendly, welcoming fashion. Other duties include being responsible for general store maintenance to keep sales floor appearance at its best.
