Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking a Part-Time Associate for 711 Auburn to join the Smart & Final store operations team. The role reports to the Store Manager and supports inventory, stocking, operating a cash register, carry-out services and general store duties.

The position requires English literacy, basic PC/Outlook skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Starting rate is $16.90 per hour, with 401(k) and continuing education benefits available.

Qualifications

• Read and write English; interact with public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, pricing codes, shelf tags, memos.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section and stock merchandise; verify pricing and rotate stock.
• Clean and maintain sanitation in all areas.
• Operate a cash register and handle payments, refunds; verify alcohol eligibility.
