Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking a Part-Time Associate for our Smart & Final store in Visalia, CA. Starting rate is $16.90 per hour. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, stocking, cash handling, and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Read and write English.
• Interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labeling, pricing codes, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section and stock merchandise with proper pricing and rotation. Prepare perishable products for sale and set up promotions.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, refunds, and verify eligibility when selling restricted items.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and assist customers to their vehicles when needed.
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and track lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
• Maintain sanitation standards in interior and exterior areas as directed by management.
