Job summary

Chedraui USA in Sacramento is seeking a Part-time Associate – 806 Sacramento. Starting rate $16.90 per hour. You will provide excellent customer service and engage with the community while helping with stocking and checkout duties.

The role reports to the Store Manager and involves receiving inventory, stocking, operating a cash register, carrying out services, and maintaining store cleanliness. Must read/write English and be able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Read and write English and interact with customers and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with customers and coworkers.
• Follow written or oral instructions with common sense.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section; stock merchandise, ensure proper pricing and displays.
• Stock shelves and end displays, review invoices for accuracy.
• Operate a cash register and handle payments, refunds, and basic check processing.
• Assist customers by providing product information and loading purchases when needed.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties for store supplies.
