Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring part-time store associates, stockers and cashiers in Chalmette, LA. You will merchandise, stock shelves, cashier, and keep the store clean to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Starting wage is $17.50 per hour with increases over the next years. Benefits include 401(k), EAP, and discount programs; some full-time benefits apply where applicable. Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills customer service principles and escalates as needed
• Aids management in achieving operational efficiency and loss prevention goals
• Maintains safety by identifying hazards and ensuring equipment is functioning
• Keeps store zones and merchandising standards
• Performs general cleaning to company standards
• Stocks shelves and displays per planograms, with early start when needed
• Engages in cashier, stocker, and store associate duties as required
