Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to join our team and create an inviting shopping experience for customers. You will receive merchandise, unload freight safely, merchandise stock, and assist with store cleanliness while maintaining a positive and friendly environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting 30–50 lbs, and handling cash with accuracy. Prior retail or hospitality customer service is preferred; strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent standing/walking tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.
• High integrity and basic math proficiency for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely according to productivity standards.
• Merchandise and stock as needed and keep areas neat and presentable.
• Assist with store cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Maintain positive, safe interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Handle sales transactions and operate assigned cash register.
• Secure cash and protect company assets.
