Family Dollar in Santee, South Carolina is seeking a hands-on Part-time Store Associate/Manager to support daily store operations. You will assist customers, organize merchandise, and help open and close the store while upholding company standards.

You’ll work with the Store Manager to supervise staff, maintain clean, safe premises, handle inventories, and ensure promotional displays are effective. This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent or higher preferred/m required.
• Retail/store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and daily activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain displays and fixtures.
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean: bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Formação académica

High school diploma or equivalent
