Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Monroe, Wisconsin to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and support opening/closing procedures in a fast-paced, community-focused retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; read/interpret/explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, unpack, and stock merchandise; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store operations communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized; protect assets including cash.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed; supervise and develop associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment; other duties as assigned.
