Responsibilities

• Greets and takes food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests.
• Remains attentive to the customers throughout the dining experience, adhering to service standards.
• Completes all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing sidework as instructed.
• Memorizes menu items and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintains cleanliness standards in restaurant, waitstation and kitchen service areas.
• Processes guest checks accurately and documents orders.
• Receives payment from guests and ensures accuracy of checks and payments.
• Attends pre-meal and departmental meetings to improve product knowledge and communication.
• Responds to customer inquiries in person and by phone with timely, knowledgeable information.
