Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to provide respiratory care and diagnostic testing for acutely and chronically ill patients.

The position requires completion of a 2- to 4-year Respiratory Care Program, Ohio licensure, NBRC credentials, and BLS. You will administer therapies, record data, mentor students, and collaborate with physicians to plan care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2- or 4-year Respiratory Care Program.
• Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License and NBRC credential (RRT or CRT).
• Clinical experience in adult and neonatal respiratory therapy with arterial blood gases and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide Respiratory Care, ensure patient safety and promote evidence-based practice.
• Initiate and administer therapeutic procedures and diagnostic tests per policy.
• Record patient data on the medical record and maintain records.
• Precept new employees and participate in clinical rotations.
• Maintain knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and collaborate with care teams.
