Job summary

All Saints Sub Acute & Nursing in San Leandro, CA is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a part-time role. You will provide specialized respiratory care to residents with pulmonary disorders as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current RT license or certification in good standing (CA).
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Experience in skilled nursing, sub-acute, long-term, or acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of respiratory equipment, infection control, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents to identify respiratory care needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other prescribed interventions.
• Monitor residents for changes and communicate with physicians and care team.
• Perform respiratory assessments and document findings accurately.
• Assist with pulmonary rehabilitation and patient education when appropriate.
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment with proper infection control.
