Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy with ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.

• Ability to operate advanced respiratory equipment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and patient-focused care are essential.

Job description

Role: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) providing patient respiratory care, assessments, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments, establish care plans, and communicate with healthcare teams. Execute routine therapies such as aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, secretion management, and artificial airway maintenance. Manage mechanical ventilators and monitor patients using non-invasive tools. Educate patients and families on disease management, assist with intra-hospital transports, and respond to emergent airway situations. Support procedures like fiberoptic bronchoscopy and invasive line placement. Collect arterial blood gases and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Serve as Shift Coordinator and preceptor for trainees.

Qualifications & Skills: Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy, with certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS. Ability to operate advanced respiratory equipment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication, safety awareness, and patient-focused care are essential.
