Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) to assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to patients. • Graduate from Specialty Training Program (required).
• Strong communication, clinical and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform emergency interventions and manage advanced respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop care plans; manage aerosolized meds, oxygen therapy, and ventilation.
• Provide education to patients and families and support invasive/non-invasive monitoring.
• Assist with intra-hospital transport and emergency airway management.
• Collaborate with the medical team and act as Shift Coordinator after one year; preceptor duties.

Job description

Role:

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering respiratory care to patients.

Key Duties:

Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, develops care plans, manages therapeutic modalities including aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation. Provides patient and family education, assists with intra-hospital transport, and manages emergency airway situations. Supports invasive and non-invasive monitoring, participates in procedures like bronchoscopy, and collaborates with the medical team. Acts as Shift Coordinator after one year and serves as a preceptor for students and new staff. Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards and maintains patient confidentiality.
