Project Chesapeake is seeking a part-time Residential Aide to support clients at a female Level 3.5 location in Grasonville, MD. The role focuses on monitoring, rounds, and adherence to daily schedules within a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities include intake support, medication observation, urinalysis monitoring, and professional communication with clients and staff. HIPAA compliance and ethical boundaries are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in addiction or behavioral health is preferred.
• Familiar with ASAM criteria and 12-step concepts.
• Ability to observe and document client changes.
• HIPAA guidelines must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all clients during assigned shift.
• Conduct regular rounds around the property.
• Ensure daily program/schedule is followed.
• Assist with new intakes, searches, and mealtimes.
• Observe and document medications taken or refused.
• Monitor supervised urinalysis as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep staff informed of client challenges or issues.
• Provide accurate information during shift changes via written and verbal updates.
• Attend team meetings as scheduled.
• Adapt quickly to schedule changes and assignments.
• Deescalate when needed and maintain professional boundaries.
• Abide by HIPAA requirements at all times.
