Job summary

Vitality Living Spring Hill Community is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to manage vehicle trips for residents and families. You will operate the community vehicle, adhere to safety guidelines, and ensure passenger safety through proper wheelchair restraints.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, a valid license, and CPR/First Aid certification. CDL may be needed for larger vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to meet company insurance standards.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL may be required for vehicles with capacity over 15 passengers.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive community vehicle to social and other destinations according to the schedule.
• Follow safety rules and state motor vehicle guidelines at all times.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs with restraints to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
• Document any damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, normal wear and tear.
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicle after outings and ensure adequate fuel levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
