Edenbrook St. Cloud is seeking a dedicated Activity Aide to join our team. This part-time role supports residents through engaging, person-centered activity programs.

Schedule: Every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; you will document participation and outcomes in the medical record, and help create joyful daily living experiences. Ideal candidates bring passion for people, strong communication, and creativity in arts and crafts; join a compassionate team focused on residents'

Qualifications

• Previous experience in activities, life enrichment, or a similar role.
• A passion for working with people.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Problem-solving skills.
• The ability to remain calm and adapt to changing situations.
• Ability to work under stress while remaining caring and kind.
• Ability to understand and work in a variety of situations in a positive and constructive manner.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
• Imaginative, creative, and innovative in musical/arts & crafts activities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating and implementing activities to meet residents' needs.
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus daily.
• Help design programs to encourage socialization.
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfill daily living skills.
• Prepare and maintain reports on residents' progress.
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained.
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage participation.
