Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking dedicated individuals to join the nursing team as a Resident Assistant/Caregiver. You will help residents with activities of daily living and contribute to a compassionate home-like atmosphere.

This part-time role requires compassion and empathy, with opportunities for growth, performance evaluations, and non-medical benefits. Evening/weekend shifts may be required, and screening is performed.

Qualifications

• Requires compassion and empathy.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring residents' physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records
• Communicating needs and concerns clearly to the Health Care Director

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Resident Assistant/Caregiver. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by assisting them with their activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
