Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Ocala, FL, is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant/Caregiver for a part-time role to support residents with daily living activities and create a warm, respectful home environment.

You will assist with personal care, meals, and daily routines, monitor comfort, document shifts, and communicate needs to the Health Care Director. We value empathy, reliability, and teamwork in a Great Place To Work environment.

Qualifications

• Required: Compassion and empathy.
• Prefer: Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care: personal hygiene, grooming, meals, housekeeping, and social activities.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document daily shift reports, resident records, and negotiated service agreements.
• Communicate urgent needs and concerns clearly to the Health Care Director and other staff.

Job Highlights

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Resident Assistant/Caregiver. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by assisting them with their activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
