Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a caring Resident Assistant/Caregiver in Gainesville, FL. This part-time role covers 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts within our nursing team, supporting residents with daily living activities and providing compassionate companionship.

You will document care activities, monitor residents' well-being, and communicate needs to the Health Care Director. Employment offers opportunities for growth and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Compassion and empathy are required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Highlights--

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Resident Assistant/Caregiver. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by assisting them with their activities of daily living.

Responsibilities--

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
