Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Part Time Resident Assistant for 1st shift in Hershey, PA. You will support residents with daily living activities, assist with mobility, and respond to calls for help, while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork with the nursing staff.

Responsibilities include aiding with meals, attending activities, reporting changes in resident condition, and upholding safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must be organized and work well with all levels of staff.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Perform housekeeping and dining room duties as directed by supervisor.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Report resident status and changes to appropriate staff.
