Job summary

Texas A&M University’s Meteorology Department is seeking a part-time Research Technician I to assist with data analysis and numerical modeling of air pollution using satellite observations. You will assemble and operate a numerical modeling system employing machine learning and AI, and support data storage in the lab.

You will also aid senior staff with analysis and modeling procedures, assist undergraduate and graduate students with their research, and participate in trainings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related experience.
• Strong communication and writing skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and work with others in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and operate a numerical modeling system using machine learning and AI.
• Provide logistical support with data storage in the laboratory.
