Job summary

South Dakota State University is seeking a part-time Research Specialist to join our dynamic team. This 45%-time position can be located in Brookings, SD or Rapid City, SD and will support nursing research by powering evaluations and analysis within the Office of Nursing Research.

The role requires aBachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field, at least three years of program evaluation experience, strong written and verbal communication, and a willingness to travel with a valid driver’s

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field by date of application.
At least 3 years of experience in program evaluation related to public health and chronic disease management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Lead funded evaluation and assessment projects within the Office of Nursing Research.
Oversee project activities and procedures.
Conduct data analysis and author project reports.
Present findings at local/regional events.
Assist with development of contract proposals, budgets, and procedures.
