Qualifications

• PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or closely related field.
• Minimum of six years of research experience in tissue biology and metabolic disease.
• Experience developing grant proposals and writing grant reports and manuscripts.
• Mathematical modeling and simulation of metabolic processes.
• Ability to interpret clinical, wearable-device, and CGM data.
• Familiarity with AI, systems engineering, and biomedical informatics research methods.
• Strong scientific writing, analytical, and collaborative research skills.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the development and refinement of mathematical models describing glucose regulation and metabolic dynamics.
• Interpret results from clinical experiments and simulations, including disturbances and variations in glucose homeostasis.
• Analyze data from wearable devices and CGM, relating findings to blood glucose variations and metabolic activities.
• Support research integrating AI, systems engineering, and biomedical informatics approaches.
• Contribute to grant proposal development, grant reporting, and preparation of research manuscripts.
