Job summary

Tranquil Clinical Research invites applications for a Part Time Research Nurse Practitioner PRN in the Clinical Research department. The role is office-based and supports the principal investigator by coordinating and performing study visits with patient safety as a priority.

Ideal candidates will have NP with clinical trial experience, knowledge of FDA regulations and GCP, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• NP with related clinical experience
• Experience working on clinical trials for a minimum of 1 year
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and GCP
• Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Basic Computer Skills required: Microsoft Office Suite, including Word PowerPoint, Excel
• Develop management systems and prepare for study initiation
• Screen and enroll study subjects
• Manage study-related activities, subject compliance, and documentation
• Record data and study documentation
• Monitor and report adverse events
• Management of site activities during audits and inspections
• Management of ancillary staff

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform study visits under supervision of the principal investigator.
• Ensure patient safety and wellbeing throughout visits.
• Review and verify source documentation to confirm eligibility.
• Schedule follow-up visits and assist investigators in assessing response to therapy.
• Maintain documentation for dispensing of investigational products and study supplies.
• Communicate with primary care physicians and nursing staff as appropriate.
• Attend study-related meetings and communicate regularly with the PI and monitors.
