Job summary

Holyoke Community College is seeking a part-time Research and Learning Services Librarian to support student learning with research assistance, reference services, and library instruction. The role collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and community users to provide responsive, student-centered services.

Scheduled to work up to 18.5 hours per week during the academic year, roughly 32 weeks per year, with annual renewal dependent on funding and performance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science.
• One year experience providing reference and research assistance.
• One year experience providing library instructional sessions.
• Equivalency statements are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide research assistance, reference services, referrals, and library support.
• Serve as primary librarian for reference and public services during assigned hours.
• Plan and deliver library instruction sessions and workshops.
• Develop instructional materials, guides, and tutorials.
• Participate in outreach and engagement activities to promote library resources.
