Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a part-time Research Associate for the Education and Employment Research Center (EERC) in the School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR). Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, public policy, sociology, business or related field plus at least five years of social science research experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling and coordinating interviews.
• Conduct interviews under guidance of senior researchers.
• Review interview transcriptions and ensure data quality.
• Support the development of codebooks.
• Conduct qualitative analysis using NVivo under guidance of EERC senior project teams.
• Provide research datasets to project teams.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses using Excel, NVivo, Qualtrics, and STATA.
• Revise state policy scan briefs related to noncredit workforce education.
• Assist with developing and drafting project deliverables including blogs, briefs, reports and presentations.
• Present research findings to internal project teams.
• Attend and contribute to internal research team meetings, strategic planning, and project development discussions.
