Job Description
The Campbell Lab in the Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Section is looking for a part time research assistant to join our team to work on studies of genes associated with neurodevelopmental disorders using the zebrafish model system. This will involve genotyping zebrafish to identify gene-edited animals and setting up and running behavioral experiments with gene-edited animals. The position will also involve assisting with lab organization by maintaining stocks, reagents/chemicals, records, and the lab instruments required for the experiments, and attending group meetings. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in a biomedical field preferred. Prior experience with the zebrafish model and running behavioral experiments using zebrafish and basic molecular biology techniques including PCR and gel electrophoresis preferred.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job’s level.
