Qualifications

Ability to accept instructions and apply them logically.
Maintain courtesy and sensitivity toward donors, clients, and volunteers.
Be in good physical condition and able to lift as needed.
Excellent writing and telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate the cash register and handle cash with accuracy and accountability.
Assist customers and referral clients in a friendly, respectful manner.
Maintain order, cleanliness, and security of store areas at start and end of day.
Document referrals and client services; assist with filing as needed.
Coordinate pricing, sorting, and display of clothing and household items with supervisor.
Assist with store purchases and processing through supervisor for approval.
Answer phones and route information appropriately; support a team-oriented ministry.
