The New York Post is seeking a Part-Time Reporter (20-24 hours per week) to join our Sunday team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career journalist with strong writing skills, curiosity, and a sharp eye for what makes a good story. You'll help contribute to one of the most widely read print editions in the country and gain hands‑on experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cover assigned stories and conduct interviews
• Pitch interesting, relevant, and creative stories for our Sunday paper and Saturday web coverage
• Rewrite and update existing stories as needed
• Aggregate breaking news and trending topics from trusted sources
• Write clean, engaging copy for both print and digital
• Work collaboratively with editors and other reporters to develop strong story ideas
• Stay on top of news developments and flag timely angles

Requirements:

• 3+ years of reporting or newsroom experience preferred (internships count)
• A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
• Strong writing and research skills
• Ability to work on deadline and adapt quickly to breaking news
• Comfortable covering a range of topics, from news and politics to entertainment

Note: This position is eligible for remote work. The shift schedule is Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST.

Base Pay Range: $30.00 - $45.00 Hourly
