Formwell is seeking a part-time Software Developer to build and maintain the software behind its products and internal tools. You will ship features end-to-end, write clean code, and help shape our technical direction.

You should bring 2+ years of software development experience and comfort working independently. Strong communication and the ability to work async are essential, with a bonus for database/cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience (professional or substantial personal projects).
• Comfort working independently — you can take a loosely defined problem and ship a solution.
• Strong communication; you work well async and keep others in the loop.
• Bonus: experience with databases, cloud hosting (AWS/Vercel/etc.), or automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across Formwell's web applications and internal tools.
• Write, test, and deploy clean, well-documented code.
• Debug issues and improve performance of existing systems.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Collaborate on technical decisions and product direction.
