Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking a Part-time Prior Authorizations and Referral Management Representative in Bend, OR.

The role coordinates prior authorizations and referrals, liaises with providers and payers, and supports patient education and scheduling within Ambulatory Access Services. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and about one year of related experience in hospital or clinic medical billing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in hospital, clinic, or medical insurance billing office
• Basic understanding of medical coding
• Proficiency with MS Office and EMR systems

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prior authorizations and referrals for services, testing, and surgery
• Communicate with providers, facilities and health plans
• Assist with patient education and scheduling
