Qualifications

• Fluency in Chin Mara and English and cultural competency.
• Strong listening, retention and note-taking skills to maintain high accuracy.
• Must be able to work from home with a quiet, distraction-free environment.

Responsabilités

• Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly, professional manner.
• Render correct concepts and meanings between Chin Mara and English according to interpretation protocols.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and polite expressions.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality throughout sessions.
• Remain calm during sessions, especially in emergencies such as 911 calls, and manage high call volumes.
