Job summary

Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, Inc. is seeking a Rehab Technician to support the rehab department and uphold patient confidentiality. The role is part-time, with a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 to 3:30, and pays $15.50–$19.62 per hour.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, strong organizational and analytical skills, and basic computer skills to assist therapists and manage records and communications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of PC and standard software used in rehab settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in maintaining the rehab department.
• Verify client information; set up soft files/ verify insurance for therapists.
• Answer the phone and delay messages.
• Maintain confidentiality of all medical records, facility, and rehab-related information.
• Keep an inventory of supplies and communicate with the Therapy Director.
• Review and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined by the facility.
• Basic computer skills for assisting with computer tasks.
