The Pet Hospital of Tierrasanta in San Diego, CA is seeking a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technician to join a 3-doctor team. The ideal candidate will have RVT credentials, strong patient handling skills, experience with blood draws, venipuncture, anesthetic monitoring, and digital radiology.

Qualifications

• Current RVT license required.
• 3+ years veterinary experience preferred.
• Experience with rooming patients and assisting doctors.
• Knowledge of equipment, blood draws, venipuncture, and restraint.
• Familiarity with dental radiographs, anesthesia monitoring, and patient history collection.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist doctors during procedures.
• Perform blood draws and venipuncture.
• Assist with anesthesia induction and monitoring.
• Operate digital radiography and related equipment.
• Educate clients and provide compassionate care.
