Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse for the Transplant ICU in the Kamin Tower. This part-time role supports a specialized NICU? (Transplant ICU) within a Magnet-designated hospital, with a sign-on bonus available.

The position involves rotating two 12-hour day/night shifts weekly and working in a high-acuity transplant unit. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of RN experience, ICU experience preferred, and a strong commitment to patient care, teamwork, and ongoing

About the Unit:

UPMC Montefiore’s Transplant ICU is a 16-bed critical care facility, receiving a wide variety of patients. Most of our patients have received transplanted organs includingkidney, liver, pancreas, intestine, islet cell, or multi-visceral transplants. We also care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, surgical oncology patients undergoing complicated abdominal surgeries, and patients suffering from multi-system organ failure. Nurses in the TICU can expect to work with tracheostomies, line and drain placements, intubations, CRRT, and vasopressors among other types of specialty equipment and treatments. The diversity of patients makes the TICU an exciting and stimulating atmosphere for learning and professional growth.
