Job summary

Visiting Angels Amarillo, TX is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical oversight, client assessments, and care planning for home health clients. The RN will conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop plans of care, and ensure compliance with state regulations and agency standards.

Candidates must hold an active TX RN license, have strong assessment and documentation skills, reliable transportation, and be able to travel to client homes.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in TX.
• Current nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Home health, hospice, geriatric, or community health experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.

The RN will play a key role in ensuring clients receive high-quality care and that all services meet applicable state regulations and agency standards. This position requires excellent assessment skills, strong documentation practices, and a commitment to client-centered care.

Compensation & Schedule

• $35.00 per hour.
• Part-time position.
• Approximately 10-15 hours per week.
• Scheduled over two (2) days per week.
• Flexible scheduling available based on agency needs.
