Pruitthealth Corporation in Maryland is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver resident care in accordance with nursing standards and regulations. You will participate in infection control, staff training, and quality assurance while maintaining thorough documentation and care planning.

Responsibilities include evaluating admissions, auditing records, and ensuring safe, compliant care across shifts in a long-term care setting.

Formación

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or RN program.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One (1) year professional nursing experience in long term care setting.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current, active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and maintains nursing policies and procedures in line with current standards and communicates to staff.
• Establishes infection control program to prevent disease and ensure a safe environment.
• Conducts staff training and monitors performance on hand washing, isolation techniques, and universal precautions.
• Develops facility orientation and training for new partners including policies and care philosophy.
• Develops and conducts in-service education programs for staff.
• Screens prospective admissions for level of care, anticipated needs and length of stay, per federal regulations.
• Audits clinical records for accuracy and completeness of resident assessments and plan of care implementation.
• Takes action to resolve staffing shortages and informs the Director of Health Services.
