Job summary

Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to deliver individualized patient care and apply clinical practice guidelines in collaboration with physicians.

You will complete documentation, support case management, and contribute to patient safety and quality while promoting excellent patient and guest experiences.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing, AL licensure, and ACLS/PALS within 1 year; BSN preferred and one year of experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing and AL state licensure required; BSN preferred.
• One year of experience preferred; Must pass medication test.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills. ACLS & PALS certified within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs individualized care for assigned patients, incorporating clinical practice guidelines with established nursing practice.
• Completes documentation and charges in an appropriate, thorough and timely manner.
• Adheres to case management model for assigned patients working with physicians for effective throughput.
• Demonstrates and encourages team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
• Upholds and promotes patient safety and quality.
