Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our Meadowbrook healthcare team. You will assess patient nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and help maintain optimal nutrition status.

The role typically schedules about 24 hours per week and is onsite at Holy Redeemer Health System Meadowbrook Campus. Eligible candidates have a nutrition background, licensure, and CDR eligibility where applicable, with ongoing CE requirements and a focus on patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the CDR or meets eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development and improvement of quality programs.
