Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian licensure in the state of PA is required.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care facilities and the food service industry.

Responsibilities

• Visits facilities with frequency determined by nutritional program complexity and facility size.
• Assess nutritional status including lab values, intake, weight maintenance, diet interactions, and overall well-being.
• Perform admissions and ongoing nutritional risk assessments monthly or as needed.
• Document nutritional assessments and interventions in care plans; review others' documentation.
