ChristianaCare is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian for Nutrition Services in Newark, DE. The role includes conducting nutritional assessments and providing counseling to patients with a variety of needs, including diabetes, cardiovascular health, and pregnancy nutrition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• RD certification required.
• Master’s degree required after 2024 per CDR.
• CDE preferred or plan to obtain within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth nutritional assessments for patients with chronic disease or obesity.
• Provide individualized counseling and group education.
• Communicate and interpret diet history data.
• Maintain medical records per HIPAA and billing guidelines.
