Job summary

Elior North America is hiring a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for the Meadowbrook, PA area. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, planning interventions, and improving patient quality of life within a healthcare setting. Typical schedule is 24 hours per week.

Candidates should hold relevant nutrition degrees, be licensed or eligible, and have ongoing continuing education requirements. This onsite position offers a strong work‑life balance and part-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field

Master's degree in Nutrition or related field

CDR exam or eligibility with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements

75 hours of continuing education every five years

Licensed or certified per state requirements
